Dr. Elena Liaou

I offer individual therapy for adults from the age of 18 upwards. I use a broad range of interventions to tailor a therapy plan meeting clients' particular needs and helping them make the desired changes as quickly as possible. I draw from different therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy.

I work with a wide range of psychological difficulties. Many of these are listed below, but the list is not exhaustive: Depression, Dysthymia, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attacks, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Trichotillomania, Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Interpersonal Problems – Relationship Difficulties, Life Transitions and Adjustment Issues, Low Self -Esteem – Low Self-Confidence – Body Image problems, Stress Management and Sleep Problems.
