Additional Information: Psychotherapy: I am a psychotherapist and medical doctor. I have had 7 years of training in counseling, psychotherapy and psychiatry with children, adolescents, adults and families. As an integrative therapist I will draw upon different therapeutic models to tailor the therapy to the individual client. I will work with the client to find ways in which I can help them manage their troubles and move forward towards living the life they imagined. The first appointment is a full psychological assessment so that we can form a collaborative treatment plan. Supervison: I am a qualified supervisor; I have a postgraduate diploma in supervision from the British psychological society. I provide one to one and group supervision for counsellors / psychotherapists in training and experienced therapists, health professionals and social workers. I am able to support a supervisee in developing their career, helping them with accreditation applications, and supporting those who wish to become supervisors themselves. My supervision style is integrative, with a focus on developing a personal philosophy of therapy. I am registered with the GMC, Royal College of Psychiatrists, The National Counseling Society and I am on the National register for counselors and psychotherapists. I abide by the BACP code of ethics. |
